The Queen City Wheels Cycling Club is partnering with several local organizations to provide free bike helmets for local kids on August 6th, as part of the National Night Out program.

Club spokesman Jeff Seeley talked to WNKU’s Matt Kelley about how the initiative came about. You can listen to this talk at WNKU

District Two Officers Look Forward To Meeting You

On behalf of everyone in Cincinnati Police District Two, I want to invite you to attend our District-wide National Night Out event to be held in Owls Nest Park this year.  We are looking forward to seeing you and your neighbors.  This is a night when all of us can meet, talk in an informal setting, and share goals for the neighborhoods in District Two, and Cincinnati.  We promise to have something special for everyone in your family, no matter what the age.  I hope you will join us.

The preparations for the 2013 National Night Out are in full swing. In the recent meeting the Organizing Committee was joined by Capt. Butler, the new Chief of District 2.

Participating on the committee are members of the local Community Council, District 2 Police Department, local businesses, and several other volunteers from the community.
